Argentina Shines at Pan American Judo Open Santiago 2024: Two Gold Medals, One Silver, One Bronze

The national team won two gold medals, one silver and one bronze in the competition held in the Chilean capital.

The Argentine team had a good performance in the Pan American Judo Open Santiago 2024, held at the Contact Sports Center of the National Stadium Park of Chile, adding four medals, two gold, one silver and one bronze, to place itself in third place in the medal table of the tournament that had more than 100 participants from 16 countries.

Keisy Perafan won the gold medal in the category up to 48kg after defeating the Paraguayan Gabriela Narváez in the definition. Meanwhile, Ivo Dargoltz won the title in the category up to 100kg after beating the Chilean Rafael Romo in the final.

For his part, Mariano Coto climbed to the second step of the podium after falling in the last fight against the Peruvian Yuta Galarreta and Brisa Gómez was third in the category up to 57kg by defeating the American Noran Elmahroukey in the fight for third place.
