Edwards Reacts to Card’s Price Tag
Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards expressed shock upon learning the sale price of his most valuable rookie card. The card, a 2020-21 Panini Flawless NBA Logoman patch autographed one-of-one, fetched $426,000 in an auction held by Goldin in June 2022.
“I don’t know. Probably like $100,000,”
Anthony Edwards
Edwards initially underestimated the card’s value, guessing figures of $100,000 and then $200,000 before being informed of the actual sale price. His reaction was one of disbelief:
“Someone bought that?” a stunned Edwards said. “I appreciate it.”
