Inspector Maya takes advantage of her summer vacation and goes to one of the archipelago islands to take part in a yoga retreat run by her friend Emily. This lonely, difficult-to-reach island seems to be the perfect place for this. Unfortunately, the locals don’t see it that way and so the yogis don’t receive a particularly friendly welcome. The situation gets even worse when the first body is found after midsummer and everyone comes under general suspicion. Maya is now investigating undercover, supported by her colleague, when a storm hits the island.
Exciting crime thriller that is in no way inferior to the first volume. Once again the author manages to create suspense and make the reader curious about the next pages and events. Somehow everything in this book fits, the characters and their personal development, the quirky natives and even the weather fits perfectly. I have grown to love the main characters even more and am extremely curious about the next volume!
