Alo Yoga Set to Conquer Korean Market with Premier Flagship Store
Alo Yoga’s Korean Debut
Alo Yoga, the Los Angeles-based premium athletic wear brand, is set to launch its first flagship store in Korea this July-August. The 562 square-meter (around 170 pyeong) store will be located near Dosan Park in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, spanning from the first basement to the 6th floor of a sole building.
The store will offer a wide range of Alo Yoga products, from activewear and sports supplies to sneakers and wellness essentials.
About Alo Yoga
Alo Yoga was founded in 2007 in the United States and has since become a prominent yoga clothing and athletic wear brand. Known for its high-quality, stylish, and functional activewear, Alo Yoga’s products often retail between 100,000 to 200,000 Korean won per piece.
Last July, Alo Yoga established a Korean subsidiary and appointed BTS member Jin as its ambassador.
Jin’s global influence and artistry align perfectly with Alo Yoga’s principles of mindful living, balance, and self-love.
Korean Market Potential and Expansion Plans
With the Korean athletic wear market projected to grow at an annual rate of 11% until 2034, reaching $7 billion, Alo Yoga’s entry signals a keen eye for opportunity. Having already established a presence in Southeast Asia with offline stores in countries like Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia, Alo Yoga is now focusing on the Korean market.
Following the Dosan Park flagship, Alo Yoga plans to open new stores in The Hyundai Park One in Yeouido-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, Lotte Department Store headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul, and Hannam Flagship in Yongsan-gu, Seoul.
