Akshay Bhatia and Ryo Hisatsune Lead Pebble Beach Pro-Am as Fowler and McIlroy Charge
Bhatia and Hisatsune In Control After Stellar Second Rounds
Akshay Bhatia and Ryo Hisatsune have taken charge of the Pebble Beach Pro-Am, sitting atop the leaderboard after stellar second rounds of 64 (-8) each. They top a crowded leaderboard as the reigning PGA Tour Player of the Year, Rickie Fowler, returns to form with the same score.
Playing the Spyglass Hill course, Bhatia, a 24-year-old with two PGA Tour wins under his belt, attributed his success to his short game:
“I continue my momentum from last week. I played very well, and I’m starting to find my rhythm.”
