Hidalgo Sport. Lauro Campos.- The Hidalgo Amateur Boxing Association (AHBA) turned the year into a marathon, with the decoration of its last 41 champions of its traditional Golden Gloves tournament.
The contest experienced its fourth and last performance in Ciudad Sahagún, a town located in Tepeapulco, where the last 82 finalists appeared, seeking the remaining titles of the contest.
In Pre-Kindergarten, the wins were in the hands of Donovan Valencia, Leonardo Lunas, Brayan Sarabia, Juan Hernández, Azael Vargas, Mattias Cortés, José Araujo and José Solís.
In turn, the School champions were Amurabi Betancourt, Daniel Alcántara, Domingo Hernández, Brandon García, and Santino Dorantes, as well as Santiago Terrazas, Héctor Olivares, Gael Gómez, César Pérez, Oliver Portillo, Leónidas Cortés, Brayan Gutiérrez, Emilio Perea Jr., Rodrigo Escobar and Christian Ortega, in Junior.
For its part, the Youth division went to Idelfonso Sosa, Jairo Ramírez, Alexander Castañeda, Luis Bello, Jorge Bermeo, Michael Monroy, Gilberto Ocampo, Arturo Rodríguez and Luis Maya.
Finally, Jesús Cruz, Luis Reyes, Ángel Moreno, Óscar Vázquez, Daniel León, Brandon Ledezma, Alejandro Bello, Israel Delgadillo and Suyai Parra were proclaimed champions of the Elite category.
At the end of the event, the AHBA made a positive assessment of 2024, already preparing for 2025, in which they will open with the First Force National Championship and with the state championship the Conade National Games and the Olympic Festival.
