The Quinta de Tilcoco cyclist, Ariel Berríos, experienced a day of recognition this Tuesday, December 17 at the Chilean Olympic Committee, where he participated in the annual awards ceremony for the champions of the National Tour and the Chile Downhill Cup, organized by the National Cycling Federation.
Berríos, who had an outstanding participation in two important championships during the year, received the first place award in the National Tour, a competition in which he managed to position himself as the best in his category. Furthermore, thanks to its excellent performance in DH Serieswhere he was among the best, he achieved first place in the 2024 Chile Cup in the rigid bicycle category.
This recognition is not new for the cyclist, since Ariel Berríos has proven throughout his career to be an outstanding athlete. Previously, he was crowned national champion in the Enduro Cycling championship, reaffirming his talent and dedication to this sport.
The event, which took place at the Olympic Committee headquarters, was a moment of celebration for national cyclists, who, like Berríos, continue to take Chile’s name to the top in international competitions.
