The Bayreuth Tennis Association (BTV) has hit a crescendo with the announcement of the BTV Senior Masters, a top-tier tennis tournament featuring the best of the best in ten age groups from all over Germany.
The Apex of Senior Tennis Excellence
This season’s competition has scaled unprecedented heights, with each category boasting at least four top-10 ranked players, and the number one or two spot often held by a player from the top three:
Women 40: Christine Kraupa, DR No. 3, TSV Altenfurt, Bavaria
Women 50: Nicole Glöggler, DR No. 4, TA VfB Ulm, Württemberg
Women 55: Anke Wurst, DR No. 1, TC Doggenburg, Württemberg
Women 60: Jolanta Bojko, DR Nr. 2, TV 1890 Bammental, Baden
Men 40: Oliver Schwoerer, DR No. 2, TPC Grötzingen, Baden

Tournament Schedule
Here’s a rundown of the event:
November 27 (Thursday): Men’s 65, 70, and 75 age groups kick off at 10:00 AM, with play concluding at 3:00 PM.
November 28 (Friday): From 10:30 AM onwards, all other categories will play their first-round matches through to 8:00 PM.
November 29 (Saturday): Semi-finals and finals for men’s 65, 70, and 75 age groups, running from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
November 30 (Sunday): Finals for all other age groups, starting at 10:00 AM, spaced every two hours.
