The "pop-up store" competition, aimed at fostering local business growth, saw an impressive turnout that reflects Althofen’s business-friendly environment.
"This competition once again shows how company-friendly our municipality is. We are very happy about the seven new entrepreneurs," says Walter Zemrosser, Mayor of Althofen (LFA).
Michael Baumgartner, Vice Office and Economic Officer (LFA), attributes the success to the strong cooperation between business institutions and the municipality: "The extremely good result of seven new companies in Althofen shows how important these cooperations are."
The seven winners, who will now call Althofen home, bring a diverse range of offerings to the community:

- Manuel Hartl introduces a gunsmith shop, catering to outdoor enthusiasts and shooting enthusiasts.
- Michaela Kauder combines a café and restaurant with a flower shop in her unique venture, Café & Restaurant Blumen Michaela.
- Martina Leitgeb opens not one, but two new spots: the "Gourmet Hall" and "Aunt Mina’s Kiosk" at the ALTHOFEN leisure facility.
- Simone Unterberger and Isolde Reinbold team up to offer practical, everyday solutions with their Ribisel-Shop.
- Tanja Sallinger brings relaxation and wellness to Althofen with her yoga and aroma studio.
In addition to the initial support provided by the municipality and KWF to get these businesses off the ground, entrepreneurs can secure further business development funding by forging connections with local educational institutions, companies, or business associations within the initital period.
