Treichville, Ivory Coast – The 2025 Abidjan International Open judo tournament concluded on November 30, with Ivory Coast’s judokas making a significant impact at the Palais des Sports.

Ivory Coast Dominates Junior and Cadet Categories

The first two days of the Open were dedicated to the African Junior and Cadet Cups respectively, and Ivory Coast judokas excelled in both:

  • Junior Category (Nov 28-29): 7 medals including 2 gold, 3 silver, and 2 bronze.
    • Gold: Sara (-63 kg, Ladies), Bâ Lou Carlie (-78 kg, Ladies)
    • Silver: Acca Ariel Christopher (-60 kg, Men), Kaboré Farm (-57 kg, Ladies), Ouattara Lassine (+100 kg, Men)
