USA Athletes Shine in Women’s & Men’s Water Polo Champions Leagues and Local Leagues
Women’s Champions League – Group Stage, Round 4
- Olympiacos booked a spot in the Quarterfinals with a 20-9 win over Alimos. Jovana Sekulic scored twice for Olympiacos.
- Jewel Roemer and Mataro secured their place in the Quarterfinals with a 13-8 victory against Terrassa.
- Tara Prentice scored twice for Sabadell, helping them defeat Ekipe Orizzonte and keep their playoff hopes alive.
Men’s Italian League – Round 12 & 13
- Pro Recco remained undefeated in Serie A1, defeating Brescia 13-11. Max Irving scored once for Pro Recco.
- Nicolas Saveljic scored twice for TeliMar in an 18-13 loss to Savona and four times in a 16-9 loss to Ortigia.
Men’s Greek League – Round 10 & 11
- Hannes Daube scored three goals for Apollon Smyrnis in a 32-5 win over Larissa.
- Adrian Weinberg and Panathinaikos won against Panionios and Alimos.
Men’s Spanish League – Round 10 & 11
- Jack Larsen and Sabadell beat Caballa and Mataro to close out the Division de Honor play. Larsen scored a hat trick against Caballa.
Women’s Greek League – Round 12
- Jovana Sekulic and Olympiacos defeated Laimos 12-10 to maintain their lead in the Women’s League standings.
