The Barcelona International Welcome Desk is a municipal service that provides personal attention for international talents who have recently arrived in the Catalan capital. The service centers all the information necessary for an expatriate upon their arrival in Spain, to advise and guide them in the first steps of settling in, but also to offer them courses, workshops and activities. The Barcelona International Welcome service aims to inform new expats, but also offers you the opportunity to make contacts and synergies with other international expatriates, whether they have just arrived like you or have been living for a long time. A major networking event is organized every year to allow new residents to create a useful network: the Barcelona International Community Day, a day full of activities, workshops and conferences specially dedicated to international Barcelona community.

Barcelona Activa is the city’s economic development agency. The mission of the organization is to inform you and guide you for any business project in the city. It offers training, support and networking for professionals, entrepreneurs, the self-employed and businesses.
