A day before the start of winter training, “Levski” issued the following announcement regarding the lack of an appointed head coach after parting ways with Stanislav Genchev:

The management of “PFK Levski” is about to finalize the procedure for selecting the head coach of the club’s representative team.
The first training for 2024, which is scheduled for Saturday, January 4 at 10:30, will be led by Darko Tasevski.”
Apparently, “Gerena” are conducting final negotiations with the selected specialist and specifying the details, which, however, will not happen until tomorrow.
Therefore, Genchev’s assistant Darko Tasevski, who chose to stay with the “blues” and not leave with him, will lead the first session.
“Levski” was left without a mentor on December 16, when the separation was announced. Since then, a number of names have been mentioned, but Genchev’s successor has never been found. This, of course, created tension among the fans, which Gerena apparently aims to calm with today’s announcement.
