Dunbar and Roglic, two winners of the 20th stage of the Vuelta, 172 km and 5,000 meters of altitude difference with an uphill finish on the tough Picòn Blanco. The Irishman of Jayco AlUla signed the stage victory, his second personal best in this Vuelta. While the Slovenian confirmed his lead in the standings and is only one stage away from winning the Vuelta for the fourth time, equaling Roberto Heras’ record. At the finish line, Dunbar preceded Mas by 7″, Roglic by 10″, Carapaz by 12″, Berrade by 14″, O’Connor by 14″. Worth noting, in an Italian key, is an excellent job by Mattia Cattaneo as Landa’s domestique: the Bergamo native will be at the European Championships next week in both the time trial and the road race.
