A Community in Grief

The town of Vigolo is deeply saddened by the loss of Mariaclara Beltrachini, a 32-year-old mother who passed away after battling an illness. She is survived by her husband, Jason, and their son, Ethan, born in March of last year.

Mayor Gori’s Heartfelt Tribute

Mayor Gabriele Gori publicly honored Beltrachini with a moving post on social media, describing her as a sunny and generous person deeply connected to the Vigolo community.

“From an early age she fell in love with Vigolo thanks to her grandparents, and parents. I still remember the moment when she came to question for residency and told me: ‘mayor, I have fulfilled my dream of becoming a citizen of Vigolo’.” – Gabriele Gori, Mayor of Vigolo

Gori highlighted Beltrachini’s unwavering commitment to Vigolo, noting her contributions to various community initiatives.

A Dedicated Community Member

Beltrachini’s involvement in Vigolo extended to multiple areas. She shared her passion for Judo by teaching children and young people at the local sports center. She also volunteered at the mid-August festival and the Passeggiarmangiando event, and served as a member of the civil protection team.

A Family’s Journey

Beltrachini and her husband, Jason, built a life together in Vigolo, renovating a home and starting a family with the birth of their son, Ethan. The mayor described the initial happiness, which was tragically interrupted by a diagnosis of illness.

“They bought and renovated the house, they got married and Ethan was born – continues the mayor -. Up until now the story seems perfect but, like in a dramatic film, from that moment on everything changed. The news of Mariaclara’s illness shocked all of us.” – Gabriele Gori, Mayor of Vigolo

Despite facing significant health challenges, Beltrachini’s spirit remained strong. Although there were moments of hope, the illness ultimately returned, leading to her passing.

A Lasting Legacy

Mayor Gori concluded his tribute with a promise to support Beltrachini’s family and to honor her memory.

“Mariaclara, don’t worry about them, we will stay close to them and we will try as much as possible to produce the void you left in theirs and in our hearts weigh less on them. And even if a mother’s love is irreplaceable, we will do everything to supply our love to little Ethan as if he were our son and when he grows up we will tell him how cheerful and generous I was.
