Vezenkov and “Olympiakos” with a second loss in the Euroleague after a reversal at the end in Istanbul

Bulgaria’s number 1 athlete Alexander Vezenkov and his “Olympiakos” recorded a second loss in the EuroLeague after allowing a reversal at the end in Istanbul and lost to “Anadolu Efes” with 89:91 (23:11, 21:30, 26:24, 19 :26).

The meeting in the Turkish metropolis was from the fourth round of the most authoritative club basketball tournament on the Old Continent.

Vezenkov was among the top scorers for the Greek giants, finishing with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists in 30 minutes on the floor. His teammate Evan Fournier scored 20 points.

With 2 wins and 2 losses, Olympiakos is in 8th place out of 18 teams in the Euroleague.

In the next round, Vezenkov and his colleagues visit the German “Bayern” on October 25. Before that, “Olympiakos” will visit “Karditsa” in the Greek championship on October 21.
