PALM HARBOR, FL – Two French PGA Tour players, Matthieu Pavon and Adrien Saddier, are preparing to compete at the Valspar Championship, the final event of the Florida Swing. The tournament begins this Thursday at the Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club’s Cooperhead course on the west coast of Florida.

Challenging Course Awaits Players

The Cooperhead course is known for its demanding finale, specifically the challenging “Snake Pit” consisting of holes 16, 17, and 18.

Key Players in the Field

Alongside Pavon and Saddier, six players from the FedEx top 25 are expected to contend. Matthieu Pavon is scheduled to tee off at 1:52 PM, even as Adrien Saddier will begin his round at 2:30 PM (both times local to the event).

Notable players in the field include Jacob Bridgeman, the winner of the Genesis Invitational, and Akshay Bhatia, victorious at the Arnold Palmer Invitational. Matthew Fitzpatrick and Xander Schauffele are also projected to be strong contenders.

The tournament will also feature Brooks Koepka, J.J. Spaun, Justin Thomas, Wyndham Clark, and Jordan Spieth, all of whom have won major championships. Defending champion Viktor Hovland will also be looking to repeat his success from last year.
