Under-16 national team won 3:2 against Montenegro in Sofia

With a lot of character and a strong mentality, the Bulgarian under-16 volleyball team overcame several crisis moments against Montenegro and won their second match of the European qualification in the capital’s “Hristo Botev” hall.

The winner was determined after a tiebreak – 3:2 (27:25, 21:25, 25:22, 22:25, 15:13). Thus, Bulgaria, which is led by coach Vladislav Todorov, continues its fight for the quota with two wins from two matches.

The winning point was scored by Darina Ivanova, who also became the top scorer in our ranks with 18 points. Gabriela Pekova added 15, and Krasimira Garova added 10. We finished with 7 blocks and 11 aces, but also 40 errors.

Tomorrow we go against Greece. The match starts at 17:30
