LSU Gymnastics Claims Victory at Purple & Gold Podium Challenge
Baton Rouge, LA – The LSU Tigers showcased their dominance in gymnastics, winning the fourth annual Purple & Gold Podium Challenge held Sunday at the Raising Cane’s River Center.

Tar Heels Compete
The University of North Carolina Tar Heels competed alongside LSU, Alabama, and Arizona at the event, finishing third with a team score of 195.950.
All-Around Performances
Sydney Seabrooks led the Tar Heels in the all-around competition, achieving a score of 39.475. Gwen Fink also competed in the all-around, earning a 38.275.
Event Highlights for UNC
Beam
UNC started the competition on beam, posting a team score of 48.375. JoJo Valahovic led the Tar Heels with a 9.900, marking her third score of 9.900 or higher on the event this season. Jessica Naranjo and Seabrooks both contributed with scores of 9.850.
Floor
The Tar Heels rebounded with their highest team score of the night on floor, achieving a 49.250. Seabrooks recorded a 9.950, her fourth of the season on this event. Naranjo also excelled, earning a season-best 9.925.
Vault
Paige Prejean started strong for UNC on vault with a 9.850. Kaya Forbes rounded out the rotation with a 9.900, her first of the season on vault.
Bars
Carolina closed out the night on bars, recording a season-high score of 49.225. Anna Pearl Stanley and Seabrooks posted back-to-back scores of 9.850. Cami Rueda led the way with a career-high 9.900.
