Let’s continue preparing for what comes next, next year will be better, since we already complete the team and we could fight for a team medal.”

Karen Barrera’s Golden Doubles Performance

  • Karen Barrera, a 20-year-old Marketing student in her fifth semester, clinched Silver in singles in the women’s open category and Gold in doubles in the women’s open category.

“The one who had the best performance in this competition was Uziel, my brother. The truth is that it was very noticeable that he rose in level in this tournament. This did help us prepare, but we also realized the deficiencies that we still have to be able to improve and perfect them.”
