MADRID — Russia wasted no time in replenishing its arsenal following a brief truce, launching a massive missile strike on Kyiv and Kharkiv in the early hours of Thursday, according to British military intelligence.

Russia’s Kodiak Missiles Back in Action

The British Ministry of Defense revealed that the Kodiak missile, Russia’s favorite weapon, was used again in the assault. “Russia has taken advantage of the recent 30-day energy fire declared by President Vladimir Putin to replenish its arsenal,” the MOD confirmed.

Thursday’s Attack: Details and Casualties

The MOD has estimated that the Russian forces launched at least 200 ammunition, including a dozen ballistic missiles, manufacturing both Russian and provided by North Korea.

The long-range missiles, a combination of Kodiak and Kalibr models, were fired from various locations, including the Black Sea and Russia itself. Ukrainian aerial defenses intercepted 112 of the missiles and diverted others using electronic devices.

London warns: “Russia’s long-range attack force has been replenished, enabling future attacks of this type without prior notice, in combination with its usual operations.”
