Zirve Basketball’s first league match was in Izmit with UNIGEN Düzce Athletic Sports Club.
The first game of Izmit Zirve Basketball Team, which will represent Kocaeli in the Turkish Basketball Federation KBBL-Women’s Regional Basketball League, will be played against UNIGEN Düzce Athletic Sports Club between 15-18 November.
The President of Izmit Zirve Basketball Sports Club Mahir Dokuzlar said, ‘Head Coach Bora Çınar participated in the 2024-2025 season draw of the Women’s Regional Basketball League (KBBL) for our Club. We will compete in Group B. Our opponents in Group B are BESAŞ Spor, Kemal Paşa Basketball, Ünigen Düzce Athletic, Evalog Daçka Şerifali and İstanbul Basketbol Feneri teams. We will play our first match against ÜNİGEN Düzce Athletic Sports Club, where we recently played a friendly game in Izmit. “Our goal is to represent Kocaeli in the best possible way, together with Kocaeli’s athletes, like last year,” he said.
