MAZATLAN._ Local tennis players in the Doubles modality completed the day of the “Óscar Navarro García” Turkey Tennis Tournamentwhich this Saturday came to an end in the Muralla Sports Club.
This weekend the finals of the CD, D and Master categories were played.
The couple of Fernando Murguía and Gustavo Prieto Jr. were crowned champions of the CD level by beating Jorge del Valle and Alejandro del Valle 8-5 in the decisive match.
In another final, Julio Collantes and Juan Pablo Díaz won the title in D, after doubling the duo made up of Ernesto Pérez and Manuel “Sampras” Pérez 8-6 in a close match.
Eleazar Chicuate and Jorge Brito ended up being the best in the Master, after winning the turkey prize by defeating Dionicio Hernández and Armando Peña 8-5.
The competition took place in the Australian set round robin system.
Award
The tournament referees, Fernando Ordóñez and Sotero Arias, presented the champions with turkeys and recognitions.
