The Tennis de Table Biron-Orthez (TTBO) teams have returned to departmental championship action after a break, with a weekend of matches yielding encouraging, though varied, results.

TTBO1 Leads the Charge

TTBO1 is currently competing in the PR league and has expressed its ambition to climb the ranks as quickly as possible. The team secured a logical victory at Lescar and currently holds first place, a position they hope to maintain.

Mixed Results Across the Board

Results were mixed across the TTBO teams:

• TTBO2 faced a tough challenge against an international team near the Spanish border, resulting in a narrow 8-6 defeat.
• TTBO3 mirrored TTBO1’s success with a 10-4 victory against a young team in Lescar.
• TTBO4 achieved a draw in Biarritz, marking an improvement over their performance in the first phase.
• TTBO5 had an exempt weekend.
• TTBO6 suffered a heavy defeat, losing 2-3 in Hendaye.

The Pursuit of the “Tagada” Bonus

In their opening match of the PR phase, TTBO1 defeated Lescar 5 with a score of 10-4. The team, comprised of Mitch, Nicolas, Leon, and Alain, faced a Lescar team with a lower point total.
