Titania and Atletico Dominate First Day of Italian Judo Trophy
Rome, 7 March 2026 – The first day of the two stages of the Trofeo Italia Esordienti concluded this weekend in Reggio Calabria and Leinì, featuring competition among B Beginners, male and female U15 athletes.
Regional Results: Reggio Calabria
At the PalaCalafiore in Reggio Calabria, the Titania Club of Catania emerged as the dominant force, securing victory in both the men’s and women’s classifications. They achieved a total of 24 points in the men’s category and 20 points in the women’s.
The men’s standings saw Koizumi of Ragusa finish second with 22 points, followed by SDP of Rome in third place with 20 points. In the women’s competition, Union Judo of Bari secured second place with 20 points, while Judo Giovinazzo of Rome claimed third with 18 points.

Regional Results: Leinì
Competition at the PalaMaggiore in Leinì saw Atletico di Alessandria capture first place among the males with 30 points. Sieni of Sassari followed in second with 20 points, and Valbrenta secured third place with 18 points.
In the women’s category, Kumiai of Turin dominated with 30 points. Kodokan Parma and Accademia Torino tied for second and third place, both earning 18 points.
