Final Day Recap

The 18-day TC Foulayronnes adult tennis tournament reached a thrilling conclusion on Sunday, June 8, with fierce finals across various categories. The tournament boasted an impressive 230 registrations and 265 matches played.

Singles Championships

Women’s Singles: Elena Micheloni (Primrose, 2/6) dominated the women’s singles, defeated Candice Bernier (Villeneuve, 2/6) in the final 6/1 6/2.

Men’s Singles: Valentin Latrubesse (Villeneuve, 2/6) snatched victory after a hard-fought final, winning 6/7 7/6 6/3 against Joël Barreiro (ASPTT, 0).

Age Group Championships

• Women +35: Foulayronnaise Emmanuelle Fogale (15/2) triumphed 6/2 6/1 against Clémence ArriCastre (Al Agen, 15/4).

• Men +35 & +45: Arnaud Dairaine won both categories, defeating Alexandre Abesque (Pont-du-Casse, 15/2) 6/1 6/3 and Aurélien Hennart (Al Agen, 15/2) 6/2 6/2.

• Women’s 4th Series: Lise Micheloni (Bon-en-Contre, 30/1) dominated Adeline Joulia (Pont-du-Casse, 30/3) 6/1 6/1.

• Men’s 4th Series: Thomas Vuillemin (Pont-du-Casse, 30/1) won 6/3 6/1 against Grégory Lafon (Bon-en-Contre, 30/1).

Doubles and Mixed Doubles Championships

Women’s Doubles: Foulayronnaises Manue Fogale and Isabelle Pessoz won 6/1 6/0 against local counterparts Carine Soulies and Fanny Jadas.

Men’s Doubles: Jean-François Vacquié and Jean-Christophe Sure (ASPTT Castel) triumphed 5/7 6/3 10/5 against Arnaud Matthieu and Camille Jacques (Bon-en-Contre).

Mixed Doubles: Margaux Lafagne and Louis Blanc (ASPTT) took victory 3/6 6/2 12/10 against Emmanuelle Fogale and Maxime Vellutini (Foulayronnes).

Consoante & Committee Cup

Consoante: Sandrine Lambert (Colayrac, 30) won 6/3 6/2 against Manon Gourc (Montayral, 30/2), while Harry Scattergood (Sua, 30/2) triumphed 6/3 6/2 against Maël Deljehier (ASPTT, 30/2). Thibaut Tisserat presented the Committee Cup to Emmanuelle Fogale.

The Foulayronnaises Anne-Cécile Pessoz, Salle, finising semi-finalist; Isabelle Pessoz Sallee and Emmanuelle Fogale quarters of the main table, Christelle Zerbato 1/2 finalist of the + 35 ladies and Katia Spain 1/2 finalist of the consoling lady.
