Success by a wide margin for Justine Ghekiere, 28-year-old Belgian from AG Insurance-Soudal Team, in the seventh stage of the Tour de France women, 166.4 km starting from Champagnole and finishing uphill in Le Grand-Bornand. At 1’15” the French Squiban was placed, at 1’23” the Dutch Demi Vollering. The best Italian Gaia Realini, tenth at 1’28”. In the general classification, Katarzyna Niewiadoma (Pol, Canyon) is still in command with a 27” advantage over the Dutch Pieterse and 37” over the French Kerbaol. The best Italian is Gaia Realini, 12th at 1’49”. Sunday the eighth and final stage: starting from Le Grand-Bornand and a grand uphill finale on Alpe d’Huez.
