Three players from the Czech Republic national team have been expelled from the group just days before a crucial match against Moldova for Euro 2024 qualification. Defenders Vladimir Coufal and Jakub Brabec, along with attacker Jan Kuchta, were found to have fundamentally violated the team’s internal regulations, according to an announcement made by the team on Sunday.

The Czech team, through its official account, stated, “With immediate effect, they have been removed from the national team concentration.”

The newspaper DNES reported that the three players were photographed in a nightclub in Olomouc, the city where the Czech Republic is scheduled to play against Moldova on Monday. This incident has caused significant controversy and disappointment within the team.

The Czech Republic’s qualification for Euro 2024 hangs in the balance, as they now need at least a draw in the upcoming match against Moldova to secure their spot in the tournament. Euro 2024 is set to commence in June in Germany.
