There, the world number five and her boyfriend Morgan Riddle were caught and kidnapped.
At 4 a.m., burglars tried to break in the door of the couple’s Airbnb. Fritz and Morgan woke up and what they did was the Americans began to defend themselves…you guessed it! …his tennis bag.
A mosquito instead of a thief
With this in mind, Fritz waited for the thief to move forward. However, she escaped after her boyfriend Morgan called the emergency number.
“Of all the possible weapons in this house, this man chooses a tennis racket!” wrote Morgan Riddle on his Instagram account, where he also revealed how the whole story ended: Fritz killed with his racket while waiting for a mosquito.
“Let another robber dare to insult him,” said his friend Morgan dryly.
