The €100,000 Citroën Jumper was stolen from the company garage where it was stored. It had just 2,500 km on the clock
A hearse was stolen from a funeral home in Gensac-la-Pallue, in the Charente department, France. The owner of the business, Audrey Hervoit, reported the incident, explaining to the French newspaper Free Charente which was “brand new, fully equipped. We had bought it only three months ago.” Citroën Jumpermodified for the transport of coffins, grey in colour and bearing the company’s initials, had an estimated value of 100.000 euro and just 2.500 km. According to employees, it was stolen in “less than five minutes” after the alarm of the garage where it was kept was deactivated. “I don’t think we’ll find it; but if you can share if anyone has seen it or in what direction” reads the appeal launched on Pierre-Etienne Hervoit’s social media profiles.
