Top TTR – Autonomous Tournament in Xàtiva

Kicking off the action was the Top TTR tournament held in Xàtiva, with a strong focus on the younger generation. The event drew 93 athletes from various categories (Sub-11 to Sub-19), providing a thrilling platform for the young talent to shine.

  • The Xàtiva Badminton Club sent a delegation of 13 promising athletes, who didn’t disappoint, capturing 11 medals in total (5 gold, 4 silver, and 2 bronze).

Travelling to Las Torres de Cotillas, the senior team of the Xàtiva Badminton Club proved their mettle, securing 7 medals (2 gold, 3 silver, and 2 bronze) in the Top TTR Seniors tournament.

  • Julio Martín and David Ramal (CB Ibi) secured bronze in the Men’s Doubles 30+ category, after a closely contested semifinal.
  • Daniel Meseguer and Fran Pons claimed gold in the Men’s Doubles 40+ category, demonstrating superior skill and resilience throughout the tournament.
  • Mª José Mompó paired up with Carmen María Martínez (CB Las Torres) to snatch silver in the Women’s Doubles 40+ category. Additionally, Mompó teamed up with Julio Martín to secure a second silver medal in the Mixed Doubles 40+ category.
