Back to the Courts: Minipretemporada Begins

The athletes of Club Bádminton Xàtiva have returned to the training courts, marking the start of a mini-pretemporada that will last until September 5th. The club’s technical staff has designed a specific work plan with the aim of regaining competitive rhythm and preparing the players for the toughest commitments of the season.

During this period, trainings will focus on improving both physical and technical-tactical aspects, crucial to achieve the best performance. This phase is essential for facing the season’s final stretch with confidence, which includes local competitions, Master tournaments, and Spanish Championships.

Academia de Bádminton para Adultos: A New Initiative

The club has also announced the launch of the Academia de Bádminton para Adultos, an exciting new project aimed at promoting badminton practice among local adults. This program, held in the morning hours, is specifically designed for those interested in initiating this dynamic sport.

The Adult Badminton Academy will offer structured and accessible classes led by the club’s technician, Javier Alcázar. These sessions will focus on teaching the basics of badminton, including fundamental techniques, game rules, and physical and coordination exercises. Moreover, a friendly and fun atmosphere will be fostered, ideal for adults of all ages seeking an active and social way to start their day.

National Masters Competitions:עתholding Sub-15, Sub-19, Sub-13, and Sub-17

From September 6th to 7th, the national competitions resume with several Master tournaments taking place across Spain. In Estella, the Sub-15 and Sub-19 Master will be held, where Arnau Ballester, the Club Bádminton Xàtiva athlete, will participate with the intention of continuing his evolution in this type of competition and adding valuable ranking points.

The competition in Estella will be held at the Municipal Polyvalent Sports Pavilion “Tierre Estella-Lizarria,” gathering a total of 197 athletes. Arnau will compete in the men’s individual event.

Meanwhile, the competition moves to Málaga, where the Sub-13 and Sub-17 Master will take place in Villanueva de la Concepción. Among the 139 athletes present, the CB Xàtiva player Feliu Terol will participate, aiming to consolidate his position in the national ranking. He will compete in both the men’s individual and doubles events, accompanied by his teammate Germán Ripoll from CB Teulada.
