Switzerland’s Camille Rast took advantage of Mikaela Shiffrin’s absence to win the Ski World Cup slalom in Killington (USA). It was her first success and third consecutive podium after third places in Gurgle and in the giant slalom at the American resort on Saturday.

Sweden’s Anja Sven Larsson and Rast’s compatriot Wendy Holdener shared the second place. They were 57 percent behind Rast. The leader after the first run, Lena Dürr, was 6 tenths behind in fourth position.

The women will now start in the speed events in Beaver Creek and St. Moritz. The next starts in the technical are in Zemmering (Austria).
