The Ponferrada Area Prosecutor’s Office requests three years in prison for a commercial for an alleged crime of misappropriation, after defrauding more than 4,000 euros from thirty companies in Bierzo.
The events date back to 2019 and 2020 when the man visited several establishments throughout the region and collected invoices in the name of that company, money that was never entered into the accounts of that company. These are small invoices with amounts ranging between 8 and 800 euros.
The trial will take place on October 23 at the Provincial Court of León and in addition to the three years in prison, compensation of 4,331 euros is claimed from the company for civil liability. In addition, the Public Prosecutor’s Office also requests special disqualification from passive suffrage during the time of the sentence and the payment of judicial costs.
