Great satisfaction for WiPlanetBaseball for the tournament in the last week of August
It couldn’t have been better: only joy and sociality in three days of baseball games for children aged 6 to 12 from Alghero, S. Lazzaro, Minerbio, Montefiascone, Rivello, Viterbo, Acilia, Pianoro and Bologna.
This is the most obvious aspect underlying the satisfaction of the technicians and managers of WiPlanet Baseball Montefiascone, and more than the technical results of the two tournaments, Under 10 and Under 12.
The more important satisfaction, because parents dedicate a large part of their holidays to make the Municipal Stadium as welcoming as possible.
We remind you that the Under 10 category, in addition to federal activities, allows small children, until now belonging to the minibaseball category, to play with the adapted rules of Under 12.
That’s why the matches, Under 10 and Under 12, are always lively and balanced, allowing the boys to add a lot of baggage to their first experience.
For the record, S. Lazzaro won the Under 12 category, followed by Alghero and Montefiascone, while the All Stars (mostly boys from S. Lazzaro) won the Under 10s, followed in the same order by Alghero and Tigers Montefiascone.
In total, 12 games in two categories were played, on a well-maintained pitch festively set up with flags, banners and even yellow-green balloons.
The clubs that participated with the most children, Alghero, S. Lazzaro and Acli Rivello, want to thank Baseball Montefiasconese with messages full of gratitude: from Rivello “Your welcome and hospitality warmed our hearts” and also from S. Lazzaro di Savena “A round of applause for you who contributed to making the heart of baseball beat, the beautiful, one of the children” and from Alghero “You are a perfect organizational machine, tough, strong and quiet at the same time, not a mistake”.
The awards ceremony was attended by the Vice-Mayor Rosita Cicoria, who wanted to emphasize the social importance of the sporting event carried out by Montefiascone Baseball, as well as Ranucci Pasticceria, Sergio Hairdresser and Scarino Autocarrozzeria, which made the prizes available.
