Scariolo’s New Era Begins with Nerve-Wracking Win

Yesterday was the first one in which we could train with all the players, said Sergio Scariolo, marking the beginning of his new era as Real Madrid’s coach. This victory, against Tenerife, was the first in almost a quarter of a century since the Italian coach last sat on the white bench.

Real Madrid, led by the unyielding spirit of Sergio Llull and Facundo Campazzo, fought back in the third quarter. THOMAS KRAMER’s 15-point performance was pivotal in helping Madrid secure a nail-biting finish.

A white pruritus, the happy bravery and a couple of controversial arbitration decisions increased to Real Madrid, which went momentarily ahead on the score just five minutes from the end.

Tenerife, fueled by Shermadini’s scoring prowess, fought back, leaving the final score in suspense until the very last play. The game ended with a missed shot by Tenerife’s Fernández, securing Madrid’s victory.

Valencia Awaits in the Final

Real Madrid will face Valencia in the Super Cup final this Sunday at 7:00 PM. The orange team, led by American guard Sam Moore, dismissed Unicaja Málaga in a thriller (87-93) to reach the final.
