Grigor Dimitrov’s first game in Cincinnati turned out to be his last.

In front of his father Dimitar, the best Bulgarian tennis player in the world lost 6:4, 4:6, 3:6 to the 50th in the world Fabian Marozhan at the “Masters 1000” tournament. Thus, the Hungarian returned to Roland Garros, where Dimitrov simply ran over him.

Grigor somewhat had a chance to win in two sets. In the second part, he allowed a breakthrough, but immediately returned it. He then failed to capitalize on an opportunity to break through again and then finish the game on his own kick-off.

The former world No. 3 struggled with his first serve (just 45%), and some of his 9 double faults came at crucial moments. A few days ago in Montreal, he lost to Alexey Popirin (AVL) after having 3 match points.
