Last few days, the absolute Extremadura Championship was held at the “Juancho Pérez” sports center in Badajoz with the presence of numerous karate fighters from clubs in the region.
Among them were the nine representatives of the Don Benito Judo Club, who obtained, in terms of results, the following classifications: Andrea Núñez, won silver in the -48 kilograms category; For her part, Claudia Vélez also achieved bronze in -48 kg; Carolina Pozo took bronze in the -52 kg category; Xiomara Martín, was fifth in -57 kg; Laura Redondo, won silver in -63 kg; Aitana Mera, the gold in -70 kg; Aarón Mera, achieved bronze in -60 kg; Nicolás Olmo, was fifth in -60 kg; and Javier Romero, took gold in the -81 kg category.
