This past weekend, November 16 and 17, the III Extremadura Tennis Master of the Amateur Circuit was closed, as a celebration of the Extremadura Tennis Festival that closed the Amateur Circuit Championship within the 2024 Season in our region , recording a total success of participation as well as excellent organization.
A headquarters and a city, Coria, which continues to be the first in Spain to establish a final master’s degree in a pioneering way through the Cauria Tennis Club, within the national amateur tennis circuit that, aimed at all ages and levels, was closed on Sunday afternoon in its third edition with the dispute of the category finals that were held at the Municipal Sports Center of La Isla, and which registered a significant entry throughout the weekend from companions, family members and the rest of fans who love the string racket, who did not want to miss the evolutions of the young and veteran talents of Extremaduran tennis, as well as the extensive cultural, gastronomic and tourist program designed by the host club.
A tennis circuit designed by the RFET that, tested in 2017 in the Autonomous Communities of Valencia and Extremadura, currently welcomes the 17 Spanish regions along with the two autonomous cities, whose participating players through the sum of The points collected configure their position within the ranking that gives them access to the dispute of the Final Master by Autonomies within the Spanish Tennis Festival, which in this edition will once again stop in another important city in our country.

On the other hand, taking advantage of this gala, the FEXT 2024 Senior Tennis Circuit Awards Ceremony was also held in recognition of the veteran players with the highest scores in the categories of: “Eugenio Roanes”, Alejandro Ingelmo Muñoz; “Pete Sampras”, José Pedro Martín Fernández; “Björn Borg”, Ramón Fajardo Rosado and “Steffi Graf”, Sonja Catharina Wickmann Heinrichs.

Cristóbal, put his final epilogue with a magic show that, as a special finishing touch, was performed by the young magician from Extremadura, Álvaro Risquete, whose extreme memorization capacity left more than a hundred attendees who packed said room speechless. just as he had done before the jury of the “GOT TALENT ESPAÑA” program, in a performance never seen before.
A complete program of this III Master of Tennis that included bonuses/discounts for the tasting of mycological gastronomic menus in the restaurant establishments hosted by the “Coria Mycological Flavor” event that, throughout this month of November, is being held in the City from Coria.
Finally, with the Awards Ceremony to the finalist players participating in their different categories in this III Extremadura Tennis Master of the 2024 Amateur Circuit, said third sporting event within the region and the country at the tennis level was closed, of which, the President of the Cauria Tennis Club and Vice President
1st of the FEXT, Roberto Jiménez Navarro, has rated: “very positive and a resounding participatory and organizational success, in addition to thanking the support and collaboration
of the Hon. Coria City Council towards the sport of tennis in the town, as well as all the sponsoring companies that ultimately make it possible.”
For his part, Francisco Román Margallo, as President of the FEXT, made a call for “recognition of the importance of the undeniable work and dedication of the tennis clubs and schools of the region in the organization of tournaments and in the promotion of the tennis with the purpose of promoting the promotion of this sport at a local and regional level”, while “thanking and praising the parents for their transcendental support work accompanying their children to all the championships that are organized within the community autonomous, without forgetting the collaborative support of public and private institutions with which to carry out such purposes.”
In turn, the Delegate Councilor for Sports, Juan Manuel Gutiérrez Rodríguez, in an interview, conveyed his “congratulations to all the participants from Extremaduran clubs and to the winners who qualified to compete in the different finals in their different categories to be played within the Master Final by CC.AA.”
