The ACB Confessional: A Unique Interview Series
“Have you not confessed in a long time?” This is how “The ACB Confessional” begins, the innovative interview series presented by ACB and Movistar Plus+. In this series, Antoni Daimiel, a renowned sports commentator, takes on the role of a confessor to meet the great protagonists of the Endesa League.
The first guest of the series is Roger Grimau, the coach of Barça. The series will be aired this week on the ACB’s Social Networks, Vamos por M+, and Deportes por M+.
“It’s funny, from the age of 31 or 32 they want to retire you as a player and now at 45 I’m young, I’m a rookie, I’m inexperienced… Life takes you many turns,” reveals Grimau.
This production, supported by Movistar Plus+, revives a historic format that was previously broadcasted by CANAL+ during the 2000-01 season. Back then, a young Antoni Daimiel interviewed icons like Pau Gasol when he was just 20 years old.
The ACB Confessional with Roger Grimau can be watched in its entirety on Monday, November 13 at 9:00 p.m. It will also premiere on Vamos on M+, while Deportes on M+ (dial 63) will broadcast it on Sunday the 12th at the conclusion of Overtime acb (approximately 9:25 p.m.). Additionally, it will be available on Movistar Plus+ VOD and for devices.
