Tennessee Baseball Defends National Title, Hosts NCAA Tournament Regional

Tennessee Opens as No. 1 Seed in Knoxville Regional

The Tennessee Volunteers baseball team, fresh off their 2024 national championship, defends their title by hosting the Knoxville Regional in the 2025 NCAA tournament.

As the No. 1 seed, the Vols (43-16) face No. 4 seed Miami (Ohio) (35-21) on May 30, 2025, at 6 p.m. ET at Lindsey Nelson Stadium. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+.

Tennessee’s Path to the College World Series

The winner of the Knoxville Regional will play the winner of the Fayetteville Regional, hosted by No. 3 national seed Arkansas. The winners of those two regionals will advance to the Super Regional.
