SV Illingen: Youth Coaches Bond Over Padel Tennis
New Sport, New Bonding
The youth committee of SV Illingen football department recently organized an exciting team-building event for their coaches and officials. The objective was clear: venture into unfamiliar territory and emphasize fun while enjoying sports together. Last Friday, padel tennis, an up-and-coming trend sport, was the chosen activity.

Padel Tennis: A Hit Among Coaches
Nearly a dozen volunteers from the youth department participated in the event. Padel tennis, a racquet sport played on a smaller court than traditional tennis, proved to be an instant hit among the coaches. The unique combination of elements from tennis, squash, and handball resulted in an enjoyable experience for all involved.
The new trend sport brought great joy to everyone involved. The sweat flowed in streams, and the next-day muscle soreness was a testament to the intense fun we had.
