San Lorenzo Unites for Global Laughter

Under the warm sun of a Sunday afternoon in late spring, San Lorenzo, a charming village in the Municipality of San Lorenzo, transformed into a vibrant hub of joy and camaraderie. The occasion? The International Day of Laughter, an annual event celebrated worldwide to spread laughter and its numerous therapeutic benefits.

  • The event was organized by the Pro Loco di San Lorenzo 2024, a young and eager local association, in collaboration with the Terra Madre Association.
  • Guiding the laughter sessions was Anna Elisa Meliadò, a dynamic Yoga of Laughter trainer and ambassador, who led the participants with enthusiasm and skill.
  • The event was sponsored by Francesco Picone, the extraordinary commissioner of the Municipality of Laurentino, with adhesions from various neighboring towns such as Benestare, Bova, Carere, and Brancaleone.
  • The initiative was held in the name of “peace, joy, and kindness – and working for the good of all”, as highlighted by the President of Pro Loco San Lorenzo 2024, Francesca Pizzi.
