Weekend in Malaysia for the MotoGP Circus which has now reached the two final stages (even if Valencia is in strong doubt): we start from the Sprint on Saturday, Pecco at -17
Here we are: Pecco Bagnaia against Jorge Martin in Malaysia, on the Sepang circuit, the penultimate stage of the MotoGP world championship which should end in Valencia on 17 November: but the flood could cause an understandable change of program with the moving of the last Grand Prix to another location. But in the meantime let’s find out the prediction and odds for the Sepang Sprint Race, scheduled for Saturday 2 November at 8.00 am.
SPRINT SEPANG RACE PREDICTION ODDS
—
The duel between the Italian and the Spaniard could be a truly decisive stage in Malaysia, both for one and the other: even Martin has a match point because if he ended Sunday scoring 21 points more than Pecco, he would mathematically be world champion. In the last round there would only be 37 points available against the 38 that the championship leader would have. The Sprint Race on Saturday cannot, however, determine any definitive verdict. “I still believe in it” said Bagnaia in the meeting with journalists, mindful of the outcome of the last two seasons, experienced just like this one, in constant swings. The Piedmontese’s success in the Sprint is at odds of 2.50 on Sisal and 2.25 on Gazzabet, Snai and Netbet.
THAILAND DIVIDED
—
Last week Bagnaia had finished third in the Saturday event won by his teammate Bastianini just ahead of Martin. The Spaniard was also second on Sunday, behind a wild Pecco and ready to make up ground but… not too much. Before Sepang, the reigning world champion is at -17 and the objective is to halve the gap and show up in Valencia or at the new venue with the possibility of a sensational overtaking. 453 points Martin, 436 Bagnaia who would be champion in the event of an equal points finish: Pecco, in fact, has won nine Grands Prix against the 3 of his rival, who has had impressive continuity throughout the season and which now places him in the lead. Marc Marquez (355) and Bastianini (345) will “only” compete for the world podium but could have an impact on the duel for the title. Martin, winner of the Sprint Race, is on the board at 2.50 on Sisal and at 2.25 on Gazzabet, Snai and NetBet. Finally, Marquez is worth 4.50 on Gazzabet and Snai, 5.00 on Sisal and NetBet.
