Sport and Health, Coni Sicilia and the Municipality of Catania announce the 2nd day of the project “Sport Comune Catania”, a joint initiative aimed at promoting sport and making accessible the new sports facilities in various urban areas of the city, recently redeveloped by the municipal administration.

The aim of the project is to offer citizens the opportunity to practice sports freely and free of charge, enhancing the redeveloped areas and encouraging sport as a vehicle for well-being and sociality.

On Saturday 7th September, from 4pm to 6pm, it will be possible to participate in free sports sessions with qualified Sport and Health instructors in the following areas:

Piazza Franco Battiato (formerly Piazza Nettuno): athletics, badminton, skating

Outdoor sports facility of the Sant’Agata Village: hockey, basketball, dance

Piazza Beppe Montana: volleyball, football, gymnastics

The initiative represents a unique opportunity to bring citizens closer to sport, experience the renovated urban spaces and involve people of all ages in physical activities guided by experts.

We invite all citizens to participate and discover the pleasure of playing sports in the new dedicated facilities of the City!
