Locals Excel at South Baden Individual Championship
The judo community in Efringen-Kirchen cheers as four locals brought home impressive results from the South Baden individual championship in Tiengen. Here’s a recap of their outstanding performance:
- Klara and Max stole the spotlight. Klara confidently booked her ticket to the South Baden championship final, while Max secured a commendable 5th place in his first-ever tournament.
- Erik and Vincent gained valuable experience, competing fiercely in a crowded field.
Both Klara and Max will rappresent Efringen-Kirchen again at the national championship of the Baden Judover Association in Freiburg, where they’ll face judoka from Nordbaden. The stage is set for another remarkable performance!
Jana Dominates German Open Sambo Championship
Efringen-Kirchen’s judo club has yet another reason to celebrate as **Jana** switches disciplines and nails a gold medal at the German Open in Sambo. After years of dedicated training and commitment to judo and wrestling, Jana’s decision to explore Sambo has paid off.
“At the beginning of this year, Jana decided that she was not satisfied with her career in the individual competition and in the Bundesliga team of TSV Altenfurt. So she also decided to try out the judo and wrestling relative, Sambo.” – Efringen-Kirchen Judo Club
