Skoda has released an image showing the interior layout of the Elroq electric SUV, expected to debut by the end of 2024

By the end of 2024, the Skoda electric range will welcome the Elroq, tested in preview at the beginning of July. A test organized to show the road behavior of the medium-sized SUV of the Bohemian house, designed following the criteria of the new corporate stylistic course called Modern Solid. The details of the bodywork were and remain top secret, while those of the passenger compartment emerge in a sketch just published on the Skoda website. The image shows an airy environment dedicated to the absolute comfort of the occupants, who sit on enveloping seats upholstered in Econyl, the now well-known fabric made from 100% recycled nylon, obtained from old fishing nets and textile fibre scraps. The dashboard, developed horizontally on two levels, houses the thin digital instrument panel on the upper level, flanked in the centre by the generously sized infotainment display. A little lower down, the central tunnel shows two storage compartments: a less capacious one next to the gear selector, the larger one located under the central armrests dedicated to the driver and passenger. The capacity of the trunk It is one of the best among the C-segment SUVs: it starts from 470 liters, to reach 1,580 liters by folding down the rear seats. Finally, the dimensions of the rims range from 19 to 21 inches.

The world premiere of the electric SUV Skoda Elroq is expected in autumn, with market arrival at the beginning of 2025. The new electric SUV based on the MEB will be offered in four versions, three of which with rear-wheel drive (Elroq 50, 60 and 85) and one with dual-motor all-wheel drive. The Elroq 50 boasts 125 kW/169 hp delivered by an electric motor with a 52 kWh net battery; the Elroq 60 declares 150 kW/203 hp and a 59 kWh net accumulator (63 kWh gross); the top-of-the-range versions are instead equipped with a 77 kWh net battery (82 kWh gross), with a maximum power of 210 and 220 kW/300 hp. The data provided by Skoda on the all-wheel drive versions indicate a maximum range of over 560 km.
