With an outstanding record of five first places, three second places and two third places, SG Post/Süd Regensburg made a strong statement at the Southeast German Badminton Championships in Regensburg.
Hirschmann and Vonmetz Lead the Charge
Andreas Hirschmann showcased exceptional skill in the O55 category, reaching the final in both men’s singles and men’s doubles. In the singles competition, he secured victories against Ralph Hamm (21:12, 21:12), Felix Oehmig (21:10, 21:14), and Achim Ullrich (21:15, 21:13) before facing Eric Patz in the final, where he ultimately fell short with scores of 18:21 and 23:25.
Partnering with Matthias Kleibel in men’s doubles, Hirschmann continued his strong performance, reaching the final but ultimately losing to Eric Patz/Jochen Zepmeisel.
