The SenengMinton 2025 festival series reached its finale in Magelang, Central Java, with an impressive turnout of 480 students eager to learn and play badminton. This culminating event, organized by the provincial leaders of PBSI Central Java and the Bakti Olahraga Djarum Foundation, was held at GOR Djarum Magelang on Thursday, December 11, 2025.

The event featured five game-based obstacles, such as the shuttle run, shuttlecock pyramid, shuttlecock throw, and zig zag run, designed to improve participants’ motor skills and introduce them to fundamental badminton techniques. Each school sent teams of six first graders, ten second graders, and fourteen third graders.

Among the participating schools, SDN Kemirirejo 1 brought a strong contingent of 30 students, demonstrating their commitment and eagerness to involve their students in the festival. Zenuwardiyanto, a sports teacher at SDN Kemirirejo 1, shared his excitement about the students’ positive reception of badminton and hoped to see more students join clubs in the future.
