Scottie Scheffler, the reigning world number one, has officially qualified for the 2025 Ryder Cup, aiming to lead Team USA to victory at Bethpage Black in New York.

Scheffler’s Impressive Run
Winner of three of his last four tournaments, including a thrilling victory at the PGA Tour’s Memorial Tournament, Scheffler has earned his spot on the team with his consistent, composed play.
Third Ryder Cup Appearance
At just 28, Scheffler will compete in his third Ryder Cup, having previously played in 2021 at Whistling Straits and in 2023. He expressed his excitement to represent the United States at the prestigious event:
“Representing the United States at the Ryder Cup is one of the greatest honors of my career. I will do everything in my power to help our team take back the trophy. Playing in front of passionate New York spectators in Bethpage will be an incredible experience.”
Team USA Taking Shape
So far, Xander Schauffele, Bryson DeChambeau, Justin Thomas, Collin Morikawa, and Russell Henley have also qualified for the U.S. team. The captain’s picks will be announced following the Tour Championship in late August. The 2025 Ryder Cup will take place from September 26 to 28 at Bethpage Black.
